GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (September 18, 2020) – Buchanan Technologies is proud to announce its participation in the 16th Annual MK5K® event to be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020. The MK5K® is a fundraising event hosted by The Mary Kay Foundation℠, a foundation whose two-fold mission includes funding research to cure cancers affecting women and ending domestic violence against women. This is Buchanan’s 16th consecutive year to participate in this fundraising event, serving as a Diamond-level sponsor each year.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing protocols, this year’s MK5K® will be held virtually for the first time ever. This allows participants to join in the fun from wherever they are, while still helping to support and raise funds for The Mary Kay Foundation℠.
A statement on the MK5K® website says, “During the virtual event you can join us online to engage with other participants and we will have some special guests as well. While we won’t all be in person this year, we want to make sure we can come together as a community and help support the special causes so close to our hearts.”
