Buchanan Donates to The Local Organizations in the Community

Grapevine, Texas — United States — October 15, 2018, 8:00 AM — Buchanan Technologies continues to give back to the community with recent donations to two local entities that both serve the under privileged.  Buchanan recently donated $500 to GRACE Grapevine and $2,050 to the Lewisville ISD Angel Tree program. The money donated to GRACE was given to assist with rebuilding of their clinic and food pantry that was destroyed in a fire this past spring and the money donated to LISD was given towards gifts for less fortunate children across the entire district this upcoming holiday season.

In April 2018, GRACE of Grapevine suffered a tremendous loss due to a fire that nearly destroyed their Community Clinic & Food Pantry. There are so many who depend on these facilities, being down even a day hurts. Buchanan Technologies raised $500 through an employee give-back program called Denim Days of Summer, where employees donate a set amount of funds in order to wear jeans to work. GRACE is a Grapevine, Texas based nonprofit relief agency which provides food, clothing, financial assistance, and other vital necessities to people who are struggling with a limited income or recent emergency. “As part of the Grapevine community, Buchanan has been a long-standing supporter of GRACE”, said Jim Buchanan, Founder and CEO. “The work they do touches many and we wanted to make sure that we took care of them, so they could take care of others.”

The donation to the Lewisville ISD Angel Tree program was for the 13^th Annual Lewisville Angel Tree, a program created to provide a wonderful holiday experience for less fortunate families across LISD schools. Lewisville High School shared the donation via social media, stating “THANK YOU to @BuchananTech for the generous donation to the @LewisvilleISD Angel Tree! The funds will be put to good use helping provide wonderful holiday experiences for less fortunate children across the entire district.”
