Project Management

Buchanan Technologies Project Management Office (PMO) provides oversight and governance to all Buchanan Technologies' projects. Projects are consistently managed according to industry best practices by experienced/certified consultants and adhere to the Buchanan Technologies' Project Management Methodology. Our Project Managers continually conduct regular reviews of system documentation, customer deliverables, code vaults, project management documentation, and tracks overall project statistics to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and on-budget to exceed all client expectations.

OUR METHODOLOGY:
Buchanan Technologies employs our methodology known as the Buchanan Technologies' Solution Delivery Method for a majority of our project engagements. The development of this method was influenced by two industry standard methodologies: Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF) and IBM/Lotus' Accelerated Value Method (AVM), and was based on our own accumulated history of best practices. Combined with the leadership of a national consulting force, we created a holistic approach to solution development that addresses all components of a solid, complete business solution.

Our methodology uses an iterative process model. Execution of all milestones in succession constitutes a delivery cycle. Each milestone ends with a specific deliverable designed to keep the project on target with respect to schedule and customers requirements.

Scheduling the delivery of milestone tasks throughout the project timeline instead of at the end of the project reduces client risk and accelerates return on investment for the client.

The result is a common vocabulary of terms that unites Buchanan's consultants and the customer into a tightly knit, efficient project team. The Solution Delivery Method promotes frequent and effective communication. Foremost, it ensures that no element of risk escapes detection. This methodology is a valued tool for every Buchanan project manager, and is applied diligently to ensure each project's success.
