| As a proud Commander In Chief partner for the 2008 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl, Buchanan Technologies paired with Hartman Leito & Bolt, LLP to organize a fun-filled tailgate prior to the game. The tailgate started bright-and-early 9 am and quickly filled up with football fanatics associated with both companies. The tailgate was action packed and included the three ingredients to a successful tailgate: Plenty of food, drinks, and friends and family.
The game was held on New Year's Eve with an early kick-off of 11 a.m. The University of Houston and the United States Air Force Academy, two of the Nation's top offensive teams, faced each other for the second time in the season on a neutral field at TCU's Amon G. Carter Stadium. The 2008 Armed Forces Champion: The University of Houston Cougars conquered The United States Air Force, 34-28! A special thanks to everyone who attended the tailgate and game and especially to our BA team that took care of our tailgaters: Angela Cuenca, Rayna Nigro, Jade Swanson and Jennifer Bartlett. A portion of Buchanan's generous sponsorship money went to designated military charities, USO and Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund. | ||
