Buchanan Associates Promotes from Within
IRVING, Texas (10/19/2007)
"It is my pleasure to share with you the following promotions that have recently been confirmed..." announced Buchanan Associates' CEO, Jim Buchanan Friday morning.
Stephen Sweett has been promoted from Vice President of Buchanan Associates Canada to the position of President, Buchanan Associates Canada. Stephen’s leadership in the Canadian operation has been instrumental in helping this division achieve its current level of success. Stephen’s technical knowledge coupled with his strong work ethic and desire to deliver exactly what the client needs have all been key contributing factors in bringing about the growth that the Canadian operation has seen over the last year.
Stephen has been a part of Buchanan since 2000 and throughout his tenure at Buchanan Associates he continues to exemplify the qualities of a servant-leader to everyone with which he works.
Stephen Shipp has been promoted to Vice President Outsourcing. Stephen’s technical expertise along with his outstanding business sense has proven to be a breath of fresh air within several of our client locations. Stephen truly embodies the BA core values, especially People Matter. That is evident in his servant leader attitude that he applies in his dealings with his team members at Trinity. He wants to see everyone on the team learn and achieve all they can. Stephen has done a phenomenal job with the team at our Trinity account and we remain excited to see what new and innovative ideas he will come up with next.
Blaine Gilbreath will be taking over additional responsibilities with the People Team while continuing to maintain his role at AAFES. The executive team has asked Blaine to step up and lead the “BA People Team”. Blaine continues to prove that he has good leadership skills and understands the BA core values. Blaine’s team work mentality, hard work and dedication have been a large part of the success we have experienced at AAFES.
Cortnie Guerra will be joining the ISC Management Triad as the ISC’s “People Person”. Cortnie joined BA in April of this year as the Marketing Coordinator and has quickly become a valued team member. Cortnie’s exceptional attitude, energetic personality and her compassion for others is the essence of the BA culture. Her assistance in developing our team members, growing the operation with talented analysts and building long-lasting relationships with our customers will bring the ISC to a whole new level helping us continue to be the employer and business partner of choice.
